A SERIES OF THE FIVE WORLDS

FIRST WORLD

This month's newsletter is the first part of a five section series. You may want to purchase the BOOK OF THE HOPI, BY FRANK WATERS to enhance your knowledge.

A gentle breeze caressed the early morning hours as I sat quietly listening to the happy chatter of the many colorful birds, who were bringing forth another beautiful day, reminding me of my precious gift of life. For a moment, I was humbled with the thought of the birthing of an infinite soul, yet knowing my physical body would house the soul while I attended the School of life on Mother Earth.

2012 is just around the corner. I question if the earthlings are prepared for their transition to enter fifth world? Suddenly, a deep sadness clutched my heart as it took my mind back in time when human laws did not apply, nor did the value of history exist to the human race. I could not comprehend a place that held no order or life. I could not accept the thought of endless space or the lack of matter, which held no beginning, no end, no time or shape. This magical moment of unwritten yet long ago horrified pages of history rolled over me in captured terror.

We as a people must have a belief system. Whatever name we personally use to express our love for the Supreme Being, this knowing will come from the heart. God is God and is the same power that created all. The God of the Sun. The God of ceremonies, the God who gifted us the breath of life. And yet, do we really understand the true power of Creator's ONE sacred breath that holds the power to create a universe? Our past, present and future is held in the mind of the infinite power of the all knowing. The word Hopi means Peace. It is their beliefs, who gently guided their people to understand and accept another's belief, expressions and words which come from a true heart felt soul.

The Dawning of First World and First Creation.

Taiowa, Creator, the all knowing God, created the First, the Second, Third and Fourth Worlds. It was he who took the fire symbols and the colors from the dawn to manifest Sotuknang, a Spirit Helper, gifting him with first human power. Taiowa, Creator, then commanded Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, to go to endless space and manifest a solid substance and mold it into nine harmonious forms, arranging each as a unified Universe.

On this day, Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, was thrilled with his new honored position. He quickly turned to his work and created nine universes, connecting each, with one of the nine prophecies. He then gathered a solid substance and molded it into nine universal forms. One for the Great Spirit, one for himself, and seven universes for life to come. He then manifested one part of the Universe to become solid, the other part to become water, which would surround the edges of each Universe. He felt honored knowing that everything would soon become one harmonic note for all to share equally within this sacred gift. Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, asked Taiowa, Creator, "Does my work please you?"

Taiowa, Creator, the all knowing God understood. His voice rang out with a bellowed, melodic sound. "I am your Uncle, you are my Nephew. Always follow my plan. Now go and create a suitable place for each Universe." Creator then nodded his recognition, speaking from nine echoes of vibrations, saying, "Go Nephew, and place the force of air into a peaceful movement around each of the nine universal creations."

From endless space, Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, quickly gathered that which he would need to manifest air and turned it into a great force of gentle movement around each individual Universe. Taiowa, Creator was pleased, when he saw each Universe was manifested into solids, water and the powerful winds then again requested. "Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, your work is not complete. Go to the four parts of the universal plan and create life. When all life is brought forth, Tokpela, First World will be completed," stated Taiowa, Creator.

Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, went to find what he needed to create Tokpela, First World. He then brought into existence, a helper he called Kokyangwuti, Spider Woman, saying, "You will remain upon Mother Earth as my helper. Awakened to life."

Kokyangwuti, Spider Woman, hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Why am I here?"

Sotunknang, Spirit Helper, expressed himself with exuberance as he spread his arms wide with heart felt joy, replying, "You are here to give life. Look around you! You will live forever on Mother Earth. You have the wisdom and power to bless everything you create. This planet has substance, a shape, a time, a direction, a beginning and an end. What good is it to celebrate life when there is little movement and no sound? We must have the gift to hear and to feel, replied, Sotuknang, Spirit Helper.

Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman, understood and took some earth, mixed it with her saliva then molded it into two beings. She covered each with a cape, made of a white substance which gifted each with a special wisdom. Spider Woman then raised her head to the heavens and sang her creation song over the twins, slowly removing the covering away. When she saw they were alive, she spoke to the twin on her right, naming him Palongawhoya, saying, "Palongawhoya, the twin who sat on my right. I am sending you to the South Pole. You are to keep the world in order when life is placed upon it. Now, go around the world and place your hands upon the ground and make it solid! These are your duties! Palongawhoya, sounded his call and awakened all of the vibration centers along the earth's axis from pole to pole. For a moment, Mother Earth trembled and the universe quivered in tune. Thus, the world became an instrument of sound, an instrument that will carry messages throughout the universes to praise Toaiwa, Creator for all time.

Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman, looked toward the twin who sat on her left side commanding, "Poqanghoya, I am sending you to the North pole. These are your duties. You are here to always maintain order when life is put upon Mother Earth. Immediately Poganghoya, the left twin, understood and began his travels throughout the known world, making the ground pliable and solid, even in the highest of mountains. At last, the instrument of sound was ready to carry first message. Suddenly, a resonating sound, echoed with great praise to Taiowa, Creator, the highest power of all. Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman commanded the twins to keep the world in a rotating position and send all messages throughout the vibratory centers of Mother Earth, using your gifted powers to move the air and to stabilize all life forms."

Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman, turned briskly, gathering bits of earth. She mixed it with the liquid from her mouth and again molding many different kinds of forms. She gently covered each with a white substance and sang her creation song. She placed some of the forms to her left and some to her right, some to her front and others to her back. She removed the cape to find the earth was covered with beautiful bushes, colorful and unusual plants and flowers dancing in the winds, nut trees and fruit bearing trees along with many tall trees that stood on the high mountains letting the winds sing with the movement of their branches. The animals came next, and were sent to travel to the four corners of the world, remembering to reproduce themselves with love and beauty for all those to come. For a moment, this sacred living beauty, overwhelmed Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman and she gave each life force a secret name that held a healing power to serve all future life forces.

When Sotunknang, Spirit Helper, saw the land of beauty wrapped in such intelligence, he called upon Taiowa, Creator, to come and see Tokpela, First World.

"It is very good," answered Taiowa, Creator, We are prepared for human life."

Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman heard his command and quickly collected four colors from the earth. Red, Yellow, Black and White, mixing each with the liquid of her mouth and molded them into forms. She covered her creation with the white cape, which held her creative wisdom. Again, she sang her creation song and slowly uncovered the four humans, noticing they were in the image of Sotuknang, Spirit Helper. Seeing this, Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman, created four female forms of the same kind, which gave the human race the ability to continue to reproduce their own. But something was terribly wrong. She spoke to First People of First World, but they did not answer. Since Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman received her power from Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, she was helpless. She quickly called upon Palongawhoya, saying, "Call your Uncle, I need him!" The echo twin understood and sent out a call along the world axis to the vibratory centers of the earth and the message was sent throughout the universe.

"Uncle! Come at once! We need you."

The sound of a mighty wind roared as it brought Sotuknang, Spirit Helper to the needed rescue. "I am here. What do you need?" He responded.

Spider Woman explained her dilemma. "You did not tell me to give them the power to speak. You commanded me to create a fully and firmly formed human. I did as you requested. I gave them the proper color! I gave them life. I gave them movement and a potential wisdom. I want you to give them speech.

Sotuknang, Spirit Helper understood and gave the Red, the Yellow the Black and the White race a speech, but in different languages with a warning to always remember to respect another's differences. He also gave them the power to procreate and to enjoy their life.

Spider Woman continued to study the people, but when she saw a glowing dampness on their foreheads and a soft spot on top of their heads which was slightly moving, she questioned, Sotuknang, Spirit Helper again, "What is wrong with their heads?"

Sotuknang, Spirit Helper answered her quietly, saying, "Wait until the Red shines at dawn. " He then spoke softly to the humans. "You must respect Taiowa, Creator at all times. He is the one who created you. You will grow in wisdom and harmony, through your own applications and never ever forget your love for Creator."

Without warning! Taiowa, Creator, commanded. "It is time for the dawning of Creation. "You must remember, the three color phases of Creation. First color shall be Dark Purple and will stand in the North. First light and first phase of Creation will reveal the first mystery of human creation. The second color shall be yellow which allows first breath of life to enter the human. It rises in the East, where we send our prayers to offer our respect to the Sun God, our giver of life. Red is the third phase of the dawn of creation, when the human is fully formed and firmed. When the sun appears on the horizon, the dampness on their foreheads will dry quickly and the soft spot on their heads will harden as the red light of dawn appears.

Suddenly, Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman demanded, "Look at the Sun. You are meeting your Father for the first time." Each human turned to face Sun, Creator. At that very moment, the sun appeared on the horizon and each human became fully formed and proudly turned to face their first image of their Creator. They understood the great mystery within each breath they took. This moment created strong warmth of love which seemed to bask within their heart. For eternity, the human will remember, when the colors of the stars shine at night, an echo will fill their heart with joy and will repeat this emotion throughout time. First people went their own direction, feeling happy, and began to multiply. Peace reigned in First World and slowly the people and the land became one.

In this wisdom, Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, understood the human and the Earth were one living entity and first Mother. The second Mother was the Corn. They knew their father in two aspects; He was the Sun and the Solar God of the Universes. The human also accepted their spiritual parents who trusted and protected them in their spiritual evolution. Their second parents were physical beings, living on Mother Earth. They taught the children to respect and follow the sacred rules within all prayers and rituals during their life.

Peace reigned in First World as the people and the land became one, remembering they would fulfill their part in Creator's plan. Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, continued to guide the human children as he taught them to participate within the ceremonial ways, giving thanks for each gifted blessing that had been bestowed upon them, promising they would fulfill their part in Taiowa, Creator, Great Spirit overall plans.

As the years passed, the people turned to hatred and greed, forcing the weak to bend to their control. Even the animals had forgotten their gentleness and turned into a wild state. The wrath of the elements compounded their suffering as the people danced between life and death.

Many people had long forgotten Taiowa, Creator, Great Spirit. They no longer could hear the guidance of Sotuknang, Spirit Helper and Kotyangwuti, Spider Woman. The people began to use the vibratory centers solely for their own needs, forgetting to follow Creator's original plan. They turned on each other and drew apart as a race. Over time, many had created their own language and had lost the value of the original language. Confusion came in with this new yet strange language. Most had forgotten their primary purpose of life. But when the talker, Lahoya, similar to the mocking bird arrived chaos was born. It seemed the more he talked, the more convinced the people became. They saw the differences between each other and felt hatred holding no respect for life, nor did they understand their purpose of birth.

Then along came Kato'ya, a rather handsome snake like form with a big head who created even more suspicions within the tribes, accusing others of horrible crimes they had not committed. These fierce battles among the humans occurred daily. Without warning, the end of First World had begun. The great winds roared across the lands carrying Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, across the world to find the few good people. Suddenly the wind stopped as Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, saw a small group of cold and hungry humans huddled close together around a small fire trying to keep warm. He knew these were the chosen ones and stepped forward, saying, "I see the majority of the people have turned away from the truth. They no longer have the understanding of the sacredness of life. I have seen the deterioration. The masses have chosen to no longer follow the sacred plan. I have spoken with Taiowa, Creator. The decision has been made, we are going to destroy first world and create a second world, and so, you humans can start over again. Take nothing with you on this journey. Your Kopavi (the vibratory center on top of your head) will guide you to your inner wisdom. This will give you the will to find your spiritual sight. This ability will keep you safe and guide you to a certain cloud. You will follow this cloud by day and by night you will continue your journey by following a very special shining star. Your journey will not end until the cloud and the star stops moving.

Suddenly, without a thought their earthly homes disappeared from the world. The people understood and followed the cloud by day and the star by night. Many people asked the traveling humans where they were they going, but when they explained what they must do; the boisterous masses laughed and scorned their words, saying, "We don't see any clouds or stars." The traveling ones knew the cruel ones had lost their inner vision and their Kopavi. The crown of their heads and their spiritual door was closed to them. Many humans joined the travelers on their journey. In time they began to trust another and were happy with the renewing of their mind set. Some humans began to forget about the wars, the killings, the greed, the theft, the hunger, the hate and the lack of love which helped them understand why First World had to be destroyed.

When they arrived at their destination, Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, appeared, saying, "I see you have chosen to save yourselves from the destruction of First World. Now, come with me." Sotuknang, Spirit Helper led them quickly to a big mound where the Ant people lived. He stamped on the roof, commanding the Ant people to open the roof top. As the top of the Ant Hill opened, Soyuknang, Spirit Helper, told the humans to go inside so they would be safe when he destroyed First World. "You are a guest. While you are here, I want you to learn from the Ant people. They are industrious. They gather food in the summer for the winter. They keep cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold. They live in peace with each other and obey the plan of Creation." The people quietly went into the Earth to live with the Ant People. When the humans were safe, Taiowa, Creator commanded Sotuknang, Spirit Helper to destroy First World.

Sotuknang, Spirit Helper, destroyed First World by fire which honored the original fire clan who were the leaders of First World. He rained fire from the sky upon First world, then opened the volcanoes releasing the fire, covering the sky from above and letting the fire belch it's way around the earth, until the waters boiled, the air flamed and all elements became one. The survivors were saddened over the loss of First World. They promised the Ant People they would build an altar in their Kiva to always honor them.

YEARS PASSED INTO A MOTIONLESS STATE OF FLOATING ICE, WHERE SILENCE WAS NOT A WORD.
